Our basic philosophy is to focus on regional or product ''niche markets''.

One of main ''product'' niche markets is the maritime transport of steel cargoes (See Clipper Steel Services below). We also specialize in a break bulk and container service from the Continent to North Africa and the Mediterranean Sea (see OXL below).

• Clipper Steel Services BV .
  Belgo-Iberian Maritime acts as general booking agent for Europe for this conventional line. Clipper Steel Services operates two separate liner services from main steel ports in Europe to the USA/Mexico
  - Continent > USEC
  Clipper Steel Services operates a monthly service between European Cont and USEC. Main load ports; Baltic ports, Weser ports, Ijmuiden, Ghent, Antwerp, Aviles, Bilbao etc. Main discharge ports; New Haven, Camden, Wilmington NC , Savannah.
  Other ports in that range can be called upon sub sufficient inducement.
  - Continent > US Gulf & Mexico
  Clipper Steel Services operates as well a regular service ( abt 2 ships per month) between the European Continent and the US Gulf and Mexico. Main load ports; Baltic ports, Weser ports, , Ijmuiden, Ghent Antwerp, Aviles, Bilbao etc. Main discharge ports; Tampa, Mobile, New Orleans, Houston, Brownsville, Tampico and Vera Cruz . Other ports in that range can be called upon sub sufficient inducement. The Caribbean islands , Central America & South America are also served on a case by case basis.
  
  
• OXL NV.
  OXL specializes world-wide in sea transport for project, military, break bulk, oversized and heavy lift cargoes. We operate as a core tramp liner service between Northern Europe, Mediterranean, Black and Red Sea Ports, Arabian Gulf and Far East and offer special charter sailings on demand which add value for our globally active customers.
  OXL recently set up a branch office in Dubai (OXL Dubai) to improve services towards our Middle East customers. We are constantly looking to anticipate to market trends and customer demands to keep up with the versatile world of transportation. Flamar, with more than 30 years of shipping experience and unique know-how to its name, acts as general agent for the line.
  We manage a fleet of 20 specialized heavy lift and RORO/LOLO ships, ranging from 5000 to 20000 tons DWAT with lifting capacity up to 650 mt, which are part of a constantly expanding fleet. These multi-purpose vessels offer great flexibility and can handle a great different type of cargoes.
  Our dedicated and experienced OXL-team ensures an outstanding performance on your high-valued cargo. This way of thinking and working has grounded our performance in the past and will continue to do so in the future.
  
  
• Clipper Lines/Nigeria America Lines
  From Brazil we can offer regular services to Nigeria & other West-African ports. We carry both conventional - as container cargoes.
  
  
• Other representations
  Belgo-Iberian Maritime has close links with the major Clipper Group who operate world-wide handy size bulk carriers and who can provide you with rate-quotations world-wide for general cargo. We also represent CanForNav in the port of Antwerp and is our link to the Great Lakes.
